There are three different course options:

Trade your pot of gold for a pair of sneakers and join the YMCA for the most spirited St. Patrick’s Day celebration in town–the Y’s way! Spring into action with the YMCA St. Patrick’s Day River Dash, where green isn’t just a color; it’s a way of life. Get ready to run, laugh, and showcase your shamrock swagger. Grab some Irish-themed grub at Voodoo Brewing. Their Irish menu will be available March 15th – March 17th. It includes all the classics like corned beef and cabbage, bangers and mash, and even a reuben. They have a small kids’ table to keep the little ones busy and tons of beverages for the adults.

The Main Event: St. Patty’s Day Party at Heritage Social

Calling all lads and lassies! Come join The Main Event and friends for a SHAMROCKIN’ good time at the Heritage Social Club. This St. Patty’s Party is the perfect excuse to eat, drink, and be Irish! Tickets are $5 at the door (lucky you!), and tables are first come, first served. So wear your best GREEN and join in for a wee bit o’ fun, music, and malarkey. Let the shenanigans begin!

St. Paddy’s Day at Home

There are also plenty of ways to enjoy this spirited holiday from the comfort of your own home. Hint: It includes green food coloring and lots of it.

  • Green Breakfast: Cook green pancakes for breakfast or drink green milk.
  • Leprechaun Surprise: Turn the toilet water green.
  • Hold a Treasure Hunt: Hide gold chocolate coins around the yard and home and have your kids hunt and see how many they can find.
  • Scavenger Hunt: Have the kids search around the house and find as many green things as possible.
  • Make Tasty Leprechaun Treats: Shamrock-shaped cookies, rainbow lucky charms rice krispie treats, or cupcakes with green frosting.
  • Leprechaun Trap: Get creative and build a trap to catch a leprechaun. Use recycled materials like boxes, paper towel rolls, and glitter. Don’t forget to add some lucky charms as bait!
  • Irish Dance Party: Put on some lively Irish music and have a family dance party.
