Whether it’s cold, rainy, or just way too hot, moms need indoor play options in Boise all year long. Luckily, there are plenty of opportunities to get the wiggles out at indoor play areas around town. The weather shouldn’t stop your kiddos from getting their energy out.

Bodies in Motion

Caregivers can grab a coffee and some free Wifi while their kids unleash their boundless energy on a gigantic play structure, huge slides, imaginative play, and more.

Children’s Museum of Idaho

790 S Progress Avenue, Meridian, Idaho

The Children’s Museum of Idaho is a place where children learn through play and exploration in environments and experiences created just for them. Go get your hands on all their interactive exhibits.

Danik Gym

547 S. Locust Grove Rd, Meridian, ID

This gymnastics studio provides open play for kids 11 and under every Friday & Saturday from 10am-noon. Kids can jump, bounce, and explore freely on trampolines, dive fearlessly into a foam pit, and even create their very own obstacle courses. Make sure to arrive early because they often reach maximum capacity.

Defy

1460 N. Happy Valley Rd Nampa, ID

With trapeze, arial silks, parkour, and more, this trampoline park is sure to defy all your expectations. And here’s a nice perk. Parents jump for free with kids under 6.

Discovery Center of Idaho

131 W. Myrtle Street Boise, ID

This museum is more than exhibits. Children under 4 can run play with our interactive projection, run through a forest of pool noodles, build structures using various materials and discover STEM concepts in exhibits designed to inspire curiosity in our littlest visitors.

Gym Stars Gymnastics

Gym Stars Gymnastics hosts open play every Friday (EXCEPT the 1st Friday of each month) from 10:45-11:45am for ages 3-5 years old.

Fly High Adventure Park

7672 W Fairview Ave Boise, ID

Fly High offers great activities for families and friends of all ages. Try flips, tricks, and stunts with wall-to-wall trampolines, wipe-out, drop zones, basketball, foam pits, air bags, parkour, super trampolines, Olympic trampolines, kids courts, nerf arena, and more!

Jabbers

1210 N. Galleria Drive, Nampa, ID

This parent-supervised space for families to gather, play, and find community. There’s a play structure, imaginative play, and play houses to get all those wiggles out.

Jump Time

2805 E Franklin Rd, Meridian, ID

With a Ninja Warrior Course and a Laser Maze, your energetic child can jump to their heart’s content at Jump Time. There’s even a kid’s court, a space designed just for 1-5-year-olds. 

Planet Kid Indoor Playground

1875 Century Way, Boise, ID

Kids 12 and under will find tunnels, slides, cargo nets, rope climbs, and ball pits galore. There’s even a special tot area with equipment just for littles under 2.

The Gym Nest

17 N Fisher Park Way, Eagle, ID

This gymnastics studio provides open play for kids 5 and under on Wednesdays and Fridays 9:45am-10:45 and 11:00am -12:00pm. Reservations are required, so please check their website. 

The Sensory Playce

1471 S Vinnell Way, Boise, ID

Specialty swings, trampolines, climbing walls & structures, a zip line, crash mats, and more are sure to help your littles expend their energy. But should anyone in your party become overstimulated, there’s a quiet room available too!

Urban Air Adventure Park

3876 East Lanark Street, Meridian, ID

An indoor playground, sky rider, trampolines, and so much more make Urban Air a great way for older kids to exercise plus have a ton of fun. 

Wahooz

400 West Overland Road, Meridian, ID 

Those of us with lots of energy are gonna love Wahooz’s ropes course and Ballocity, a four level play structure with interactive vacuums and blasters that propel foam balls. Plus climbing tubes, slides, bridges, and obstacles. It’s enough to make us say, “Woohoo for Wahooz!”
